Update 7/11/12

All cats were adopted.  the white cat remains in Penn Manor and is not longer being fed outside.

Thanks to all who helped find homes for the cats.

Update 4/10/12

3 of the cats have been adopted. (one of them will be taken from the building by the end of April)

This leaves 2 cats.  The white and black cat and the black cat.  We have only a couple of weeks to find them a home.

Due to complaints regarding stray cats in the building by a few residents,  the board discussed and approved the removal of the 4 stray cats that have resided in Penn Manor for the last 5 years with a vote of 3 in favor and 1 opposed with 1 board member not attending.

These cats have been cared for by many of the residents in Penn Manor during these years.  We are tyring to find a home for them to avoid taking them to Animal Services were they will certainly be euthanized.

It has been difficult to find a home for them due to the large amount of pets abandoned during the mortgage crisis.  

We welcome your urgent assistance in finding a home for these long time residents of Penn Manor no longer welcomed in our building.
